Ecospec was presented with the prestigious “Technology of the Year” award for its CSNOx technology at the Green Ship Technology Conference 2010, a landmark recognition from the international maritime industry, for bringing the world’s first 3-in-1 emission abatement innovation to the global “green technology” arena.

Ecospec was given the honor to present updates on the initial phase of the ongoing IMO Type Approval certification process for its pioneering CSNOx innovation during the 6oth session of Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC) or the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The presentation was very well received and much acclaimed by the MEPC delegations.

Ecospec received financial support from Singapore Government and was awarded S$2 million technological funding from the Maritime Port Authority of Singapore for its fully Singapore-developed emission reduction system, CSNOx.

Ecospec inks Letter of Agreement for technology and integration partnership with STX Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (“STX HI”), which will integrate Ecospec’s CSNOx system in STX Hl’s plant construction projects.

Ecospec made a side-presentation in London on the CSNOx system under the Singapore delegate at United nation International Maritime Organization (IMO) 59th session of the MEPC meeting and responses gathered from worldwide attendees were overwhelming.

Ecospec received full Product Type Approval (PTA) for the generator. With the Product Design Assessment (PDA) and PTA, the product has proven its working efficiency and therefore suitable for its application. Along with an appropriately designed abator tower, the CSNOx system is ready to serve the shipping industry.
