CSNOx enters its final product standardization IMO type approval phase. A 100,000 dwt tanker is scheduled for installation, testing and commissioning as per IMO Type Approval requirements. It will be verified by ABS and the Maritime Port Authority of Singapore.

Ecospec made a side-presentation in London on the CSNOx system under the Singapore delegate at United nation International Maritime Organization (IMO) 59th session of the MEPC meeting and responses gathered from worldwide attendees were overwhelming.

Ecospec received full Product Type Approval (PTA) for the generator. With the Product Design Assessment (PDA) and PTA, the product has proven its working efficiency and therefore suitable for its application. Along with an appropriately designed abator tower, the CSNOx system is ready to serve the shipping industry.
